The structural challenges facing cocoa-farming families cannot be solved by any one actor alone. Collective action, done well, can achieve what individual efforts cannot.
We bring together cocoa-farming families, cooperatives, entrepreneurs, NGOs, and a wide range of industry players alongside our five founding companies. Major programs by our founders and others have helped drive meaningful progress. Our goal is to build on what works and align on what we want to adapt — testing and learning as we go. Central to all of this is close collaboration with the governments of Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana.

TogetherCocoa is a not-for-profit foundation, incorporated in Geneva, Switzerland, and with operations starting in Côte d’Ivoire and later in Ghana.
OUR APPROACH
We learn what really works locally before we roll out more broadly. We strive to foster collaboration with the governments of Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana for more integrated efforts in the cocoa sector alongside cocoa farmers, communities, cooperatives, and NGOs.
This is a holistic, evidence-based approach, designed to be shared openly with the wider industry as we continue to learn and work towards a roadmap that can help generate lasting change.
